House System
At Hubbard Elementary School, the Ron Clark House System creates a strong sense of belonging, pride, and community for every student. Each child and staff member is welcomed into one of four Houses—Amistad, Isibindi, Reveur, or Altruismo—where they form meaningful connections across grade levels. This structure gives students an immediate “home within a home,” helping them feel supported and recognized from the moment they walk through the doors.
Within each House, students work together to build leadership skills, encourage positive behavior, and celebrate one another’s achievements. Hubbard Elementary uses the House System to reinforce its values of Husky PRIDE—Positive, Respectful, Integrity, Dependable, and Excellence—by awarding points for actions that demonstrate these traits. House meetings, team-building activities, and school-wide competitions bring excitement and unity to the school day while teaching students collaboration, sportsmanship, and responsibility.
The House System also strengthens the overall culture of Hubbard Elementary by creating traditions students look forward to all year. Whether it’s cheering during House rallies, participating in service projects, or celebrating House victories, the system helps students see themselves as leaders with an important role in their school community. By blending joy, character development, and a deep sense of community, the Ron Clark House System supports Hubbard’s mission of helping every student thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
